SYNOPSIS

In a world where a deadly radiation ring is inexorably closing in on Earth, a young scientist works on the "Ark" project — a cryosleep system meant to be humanity’s last hope. While her friends try to live in the moment, savoring their final days, she deliberately locks herself away in the lab, perfecting her work. She turns her back on the outside world for a future that may never come, growing more isolated with each passing day.

On the final stretch, with only twenty-four hours left, her friends come for her. The wind bursting into the lab, a stray moth, a paper airplane from the past — all of it reminds her of what she’s long forgotten. Her scientific obsession collides with a simple human need: to be with the people who matter. In the end, as she releases the moth into the open air, she finally allows herself to step out of the shadow of her mission — and choose life, in the arms of her friends, beneath the glow of a dying sky.

The script went through three complete rewrites. It started as a quiet story about nostalgia — but after months of study and development, it turned into something else entirely: a romance set against the apocalypse. Then came the second shift — the story became a meditation on the meaning of life. And then… it changed again. The final version? About savoring every moment and not letting life slip by. I’m hoping this is the last one ahaha
